Heraclides anchisiades flies from Mexico down to Argentina;


Heraclides anchisiades anchisiades is an highly variable subspecies that flies throughout Amazonia, in the Guyanas and on the Eastern slopes of the Andes from Colombia to Bolivia ; in Ecuador it is a common sight betwen 400 and 1000 meters (Bollino & Onore 2001), hence, in the NP, it flies in the East.


we saw it at rio Shankaime, along rio Pastaza, at Mera and near Mendez.
