this butterfly is Morpho cisseis phanodemus a highly variable species with individuals completely blue, others a greenish grey, and others a light orange buff (Patrick Blandin pers. com.) ; near Puyo and on the Puerto Morona road.
second specimen comes from nearby Tena, North of Sangay NP.
