Male

wingspan : 25 mm

in 2016 we found Parvospila asteria near Méndez, on a spot where similar looking Parvospila emylius is very common.

Jason Hall, in his recently publised Monograph of the Nymphidiina (the Entomological Society of Washington - 2018), considers that Parvospila asteria flies only West of the Andes, hence this specimen would be a first record in the Oriente ?
