Chioides catillus catillus seen at rio Miriumi, rio Tutamangosa, rio Chiguaza and rio Pastaza ; it is said to be scarce in Ecuador, where normally flies ssp. jethira.
years later it is obvious that Chioides catillus catillus is quite common in Ecuador, and we never saw ssp. jethira !
