Eurybia lamia was known to fly in Central and most of South America (d'Abrera 1994) ; we saw it near Puyo and Mendez, but today the name is E. franciscana.


the females are likely Eurybia franciscana, but could also be Eurybia caerulescens ; blue Eurybia females are very difficult to tell.
