Euselasia eutychus seen South of Puyo, North of Macas and near Sucúa and Mendez, identified by J-Y. Gallard :


this species would be extremely variable, particularly the females ; the female illustrated above is very different from the type which comes from the lower Amazon, but it is the most frequent form near the Andes where the typical form is also present (see individual variation page) ; but how can one tell eutychus from clithra anyway ?
