Eueides lampeto flies from the Guyanas to the Eastern slopes of the Andes (Holzinger 1994), but if it is a rather common sight in Bolivia and Peru, it is quite scarce in Ecuador.
we found Eueides lampeto apicalis, formerly Eueides lampeto fuliginosus f. pallida, at Guarumales.
