Napeogenes inachia flies, according to d’Abrera (1984), in the whole Amazon basin, and has many subspecies - nine at least.
the Ecuadoran Oriente subspecies is Napeogenes inachia avila or N. i. pozziana.
seen near Puyo and Palora, at rio Pastaza and near Méndez and Puerto Morona.
the last female is clearly different, it is the only one that comes from the South of Sangay NP.
