Pagyris cymothoe cymothoe is rather common from Venezuela to Ecuador.
in the Park we only found it near rio Shankaime, at 900 meters.
in Southern Ecuador flies a different ssp, sylvella ; we do not know where is the limit between these two ssp, the more so as there is a 200 km gap between our own records.
