wingspan : males 66/71, females 73 mm

these butterflies look like ssp messenoides and holmgreni, the first one from Colombia, the other one from Peru, but identical.

they also look just like M. messenoides deceptus but with some yellow on the FW ; and they fly with M. messenoides deceptus.

it should be noted that, in Ecuador, these butterflies with a yellow patch on the FW are quite rare, when they're not so rare in Peru, and when they are the rule in Bolivia ; couldn't they be the same butterfly ?
